Implementation Options
Activate Your Best Self® is designed to be flexible for schools, districts, youth programs, and organizations. The model can be implemented in a variety of ways depending on age level and instructional goals.
Program Length
Flexible implementation options include:
- 6–8 week guided program
- 9–12 week semester integration
- Full semester or year-long advisory use
- Standalone unit integration within health, leadership, or SEL courses
Schools may choose the pacing that best fits their schedule and instructional model.
Delivery Format
Programs are available in:
- Self-paced online course format
- Guided classroom implementation
- Small group facilitation
- Advisory or homeroom integration
- Youth leadership development programs
Materials support both independent reflection and structured facilitation.
Independent or Guided?
- Elementary students complete the journal with adult guidance.
- Middle and High School students may complete coursework independently or with teacher facilitation.
- Emerging Adults and Adult participants complete the program independently or within structured group settings.
Training Requirements
- No formal training is required for implementation.
- However, optional facilitator guidance and structured implementation recommendations are available for schools seeking deeper integration.
